I created a portrait of someone who was a stranger to me a mere two days ago. The portrait was created in 10 minutes under a bridge during the first snowfall of the year. Kudos to my subject for keeping bright spirits during the cold winter winds. He may not have realized this, but 3 minutes after I sent him on his way a story occured: I was stopped by two transit cruisers who sped towards me and quickly swurved and stopped on the sidewalk where I was packing my gear. I was informed that I was absolutely not allowed to take photographs in this location, since it is against the population's safety. Little did I know a bomb threat was given at one of the bus terminals yesterday, and hence the situation was escalated.
I was nice, and in return these officers were nice to me. They informed me of how I should go about getting permission to use the premesis and sent me gladly on my way.
Enjoy!
